CURRENT EVENTS

 

2014

• Carmen has just made her directorial debut with the short film Ariel Unraveling, a BravoFACTS award winner. It will premiere at the VFF (Victoria) and will air on Bravo in 2016.

 

• Carmen is currently dabbling in the producing side of the industry. Collaborating with writer Andrew Genaille (Two Indians Talking, White Indians Walking, and the short film Not Indian Enough, in which Carmen has producing credits) there are a trilogy of films starting with “Hunting Indians” they hope to get off the ground in the next year or so.

 

Blackstone has just finished shooting season 5. Blackstone's first 3 seasons are available on Hulu and HuluPlus in the US and the first two seasons were just picked up by CBC for additional broadcast in Canada. Blackstone is also being seen in New Zealand and Australia and has been nominated for over 80 awards in total, winning more than 30, including 2 Gemini's.
